Merry Christmas & the Years Finale + Cheese.
With the festivities upon us whether you celebrate Christmas or not, have a great break or holiday season. The last one from me until 2015 (*Subject to change and significant announcements). Merry Christmas, Fraser
Fraser thank you & Merry Xmas. I learnt a hard lesson this year & been saved by yours comments. Keep it up & no visiting the dark side please. Cheers James WT
From a small Co in the smog we wish you a Merry Christmas to you and yours. Keep up the unique approach here and in what you do behind the scenes. Hope the Christmas cheer arrived for you to imbibe. Cheers from all us at 'long long long wrong' as you sarcastically called us.
FJP did you see this http://www.investegate.co.uk/thorntons-plc--tht-/rns/trading-statement/201412230700165269A/ where you commented supermarkets would push their own higher margin stock this Christmas? Any other food suppliers at risk? Thanks Ben
Fraser- Have a great break with your nearest and dearest. Its nice to read your broad thematic pieces as they certainly differ from the whitewashed missives we get from most of those in the corporate money machine. Please thank your Chinese contact/s for their input, as its not easy to identify the real numbers from that part of the world and they are doing a great job for you there.
Merry Christmas, and thanks for the stimulating blogging this year!
For those still shopping, it'll be interesting to see how the Thornton's (THT) news reads-across to the likes of Premier (PFD).
Good to see NXT still refusing to start Sales pre xmas (online excluded, 3pm today I think), and I'm looking forward to the updates from them and Morrison's (MRW) et al in Jan.
